Smooth, rich and complex, with a concentrated core of earthy currant, black cherry, herb and toasty oak. Plush textured at first but then the tannins flex their muscles, suggesting a need for cellaring. Long finish. Best from 2004 through 2014. 400 cases made. (JL)
